The High Salento

The area of the Alto Salento (High Salento) goes from the South of the Murgia hills to the Adriatic coast.
The Murgia hills form a landscape of singular beauty with terraces, wide valleys, panoramic coves that look down to the marina (an extensive plantation of olive trees) and the Adriatic Sea.
The shoreline is formed by a series of natural inlets, reefs and long beaches.

Co-operative Thalassia

The Co-operative Thalassia was founded for the protection of nature and organises various activities based on a different approach to tourism, based on sustainable development and eco-compatibility.
This is the aim of a project called Walking with nature…outside the surrounding walls of the White City.

On the right a list of excursions organized and guided by members of the Co-operative Thalassia.
